Raid the Snow Fort
(Grades K-3)

Equipment needed:
  • Use hoops or make simple snow forts
  • Use soft balls in a variety of sizes
Directions:
Divide the children into teams, so that each team has a fort and the same number of balls. At the signal, the children will try to steal the balls from the other forts which should be located on the corners of a square playing field. There is no guarding and you may steal only one item at a time. Set a time limit. When time runs out, the instructor will stop the game and count the number of balls in each fort. Switch corners for a new game.

Safety:
Collisions could happen. Remind the children to watch where they are going.
